Company History

1991  Mark Anderson established Proform Postformers with two partners in Malaga WA an industry suburb of Perth. Its start-up capital: three motivated workers with the idea to make their own benchtops. First six months Mark Anderson worked alone in the workshop after that he got one employee and of the end of the year grew to three employees.
1991 The company’s first major investment was a state-of-the-art Homag PVAc postforming machine imported from Germany. Mark Anderson decided to work with Homag and Morbidelli, our machine suppliers. Homag has local support and service which was one of the main reasons.
1991 The establishment of a specialist dealer network is in full swing, including cabinet makers, kitchen designers and architects.
1992 Started selling Vinyl Pressed Doors as we still do today.
1993 Benchtops still forms the biggest part of the business. The company has been growing rapidly and has developed more products i.e. components for kitchens, bathrooms and all types of built-in cabinets as well as components for shop and office fit-outs.
1999 The first CNC machine purchased was a Morbidelli Author 504K CNC PUD Suction.
2000 Proform® products PTY LTD has arrived, the company established one of the biggest bench tops suppliers in Western Australia. The company strategy is to give our valued customers quality products, professional advice and excellent service with honesty, reliability and friendliness.
2002 The company invested and developed Protracker it’s own software for internal quoting and production.
2004 A new flow through Postformer Neo PVA Press arrived in the workshop, now the production of postforming benchtops will be greater and more efficient.
2005 The company invested in the first Edgebander with an automatic return feed and an automatic Morbidelli Unix drilling machine.
2009 As part of an effort to stay abreast of the latest technology and to respond to growing batch-size demands, Mr Anderson purchased a new Weeke CNC gantry processing centre BHP 200 with fully automatic labelling as well as a Holzma HPL 380PC beam saw including Holzma’s Power Concept with fully automatic labelling which is the first of its kind in Australia.
2009 The company invested in automation and because automation is the key to remaining competitive, Mr Anderson decided to invest in the new automated Weeke BHP 200 nesting cell.
Today The company has three primary production departments: postformed benchtops for kitchens, cut-to-size-componentry for office, kitchen or bathroom, and customised kitchens which is an area Mr Mark Anderson is keen to expand.
